The Equal-Life toolbox is designed to help anyone working with children’s mental health and the environment—such as policy makers, decision makers, and practitioners—better understand the project’s background, ideas, findings, and data. Its main goal is to support assessments of how early exposure to different physical and social environments can affect children’s development and mental health.

This toolbox brings together what is created within the Equal-life project, and serves as a resource for developing new policies that improve children's cognitive development and mental well-being.

Each section in the toolbox —the guidebook, findings and tools— provides information for people with different levels of experience. This information aims to help professionals with planning and making policy decisions about, for example, city planning, social and educational programs, and children’s health care.

Trainings

Throughout the project, we organized trainings for professionals, policy makers, educators, researchers and (mental) health experts across Europe. These sessions introduced participants to the Equal-Life project, its results, and how to use the toolbox in their own work.

We offered webinars in Italian, German, Dutch, and English, as well as in-person trainings—either as stand-alone events or as part of EU Europese unie (Europese unie) policy conferences. In-person sessions lasted 1 to 1.5 days and allowed for deeper discussion and hands-on activities.

All trainings have now been held. If you want to learn more, host a training, or have any questions, please contact info@equal-life.eu.
